Terms of Service

The terms that apply when you buy products on the Newert website.

1. Purpose

These Terms govern purchases made on the website operated by Newert Co., Ltd.(“Newert”, “we”) at newert.co.kr. By placing an order you agree to these Terms. The Korean version prevails if the two versions differ.

2. Definitions

  • “Customer” means anyone who buys products on the website. No account is required.
  • “Products” means biosignal measurement devices, parts and accessories, and software licenses sold on the website.
  • “License” means a code that enables EmoConnect PRO features in Biosignal Datahub for a fixed period.

3. Orders and contract

You place an order by choosing a product, entering your contact and shipping details, agreeing to these Terms and our Shipping & Refund Policy, and completing payment. The contract is formed when your payment is approved.

We may decline or cancel an order if the information is false or incomplete, the product is out of stock, or we cannot ship to your country. Any amount paid will be refunded promptly.

4. Prices and payment

International orders are charged in US dollars through PayPal, processed by our payment provider Toss Payments. Prices exclude import duties and local taxes, which are paid by the recipient.

5. Shipping

Shipping destinations, costs and delivery times are set out in our Shipping & Refund Policy.

6. Returns and refunds

You may return a product within 7 days of delivery. If the product is defective or not as described, you may return it within 3 months of delivery, or within 30 days of when you became aware or could have become aware of the issue.

Returns may be refused if:

  • the product was lost or damaged through your fault (opening the package to inspect it is fine);
  • use has significantly reduced the product’s value; or
  • a license code has already been redeemed in Biosignal Datahub.

Refunds are issued to your original payment method within 3 business days of receiving the return. See the Shipping & Refund Policy for other exceptions and details.

7. Licenses

  • License codes are emailed to the address you provide after payment.
  • A license runs for the stated period from the day you redeem it in your Biosignal Datahub account.
  • Licenses do not renew automatically, and you will not be charged again.
  • The Biosignal Datahub terms also apply to your use of the service.

8. Privacy

We collect only the information needed to fulfil your order. See our Privacy Policy.

9. Limitation of liability

We are not liable for delays or failures caused by events beyond our control, such as natural disasters or customs delays. In such cases we will notify you promptly and refund any amount paid.

10. Disputes and governing law

Please contact us at 010-8072-5040, Contact@newert.co.kr with any complaint. These Terms are governed by the laws of the Republic of Korea, and disputes are subject to the competent courts under Korean civil procedure law.
