Newert Selected for the Youth Startup Incubation Program
Newert has been selected for the "Youth Startup Incubation" program run at Incheon Startup Park by Incheon Technopark (Incheon TP) and the Incheon Free Economic Zone Authority. The program identifies promising youth startups recommended by startup support organizations in the Incheon region and, together with the accelerator Kingo Spring, helps them attract investment and build a foundation for sustainable growth. Fifteen companies were selected, all led by founders aged 39 or under.

Newert Participates in the Interbiz Bio Partnering & Investment Forum
Newert took part in the 'Interbiz Bio Partnering & Investment Forum', the largest open-innovation technology exchange event in the pharmaceutical and bio-health sector, holding technology exchanges and investment consultations with partner organizations on the basis of its biosignal measurement equipment and specialist biosignal solutions. Thirteen organizations requested consulting meetings with Newert at the forum, and the company successfully completed biosignal-related meetings with nine of them.

Newert Joins the Inha University Hospital Open Laboratory Program
Newert has been selected for the "2025 Open Laboratory Operation Program," which supports the growth of startups holding strong technologies and products by opening up the resources of Inha University Hospital. Newert will use the hospital's infrastructure with EmoConnect PPG&Motion to secure clinical data on biosignal measurement across skin tones and to advance the technology through expert advice on the biomarkers needed in the field.

Newert Runs an Exhibition Booth at the KOSOMBE Spring Conference
From May 8 to 10, 2025, Newert took part in the 65th Spring Conference of the Korean Society of Medical and Biological Engineering (KOSOMBE) at the Lotte Hotel Jeju (Jungmun), presenting its products and services to attendees. Newert introduced "EmoConnect PPG&Motion," a wristband-type biosignal measurement device that measures PPG (photoplethysmography) and motion data at the same time and, notably, ships with raw data access and an SDK.

Newert Certified at 98% Heart Rate (HR) Measurement Accuracy
To objectively verify the accuracy of the heart rate (HR) data produced by "EmoConnect PPG&Motion," Newert's wristband-type biosignal measurement device, the company commissioned performance testing at the Korea Testing Certification (KTC), one of Korea's leading testing and certification institutes. The test used the AECG100 Wearable Device Tester in line with IEC 63203-402-3:2024, the latest international standard defining heart rate accuracy test methods for wearable devices. The result was 98% accuracy, officially confirming the reliability of "EmoConnect PPG&Motion."

Newert Runs a Booth at the Korean Chemical Society Research Industry Special Pavilion
From April 23 to 25, Newert took part in the Research Industry Special Pavilion at the Korean Chemical Society meeting held at Suwon Convention Center, giving a mini-seminar on "Changes in Biosignal Measurement Technology" and running an exhibition. Organized in partnership with the Korea Research Industry Association and the Korean Chemical Society, the event introduced the innovations of domestic research-industry companies and strengthened matching with prospective customers to invigorate the research industry market.

Newert, Supplier of Biosignal Raw Data and SDKs, Sells Out Its Initial Run of 'EmoConnect PPG&Motion'
Newert, which supplies solutions for research and development in the biosignal field, announced on the 8th that the initial production run of 'EmoConnect PPG&Motion' — the wristband-type biosignal measurement device it recently released — has sold out. A Newert representative said that while biosignal measurement devices on the market often provide raw data and SDKs only in limited form, or not at all, 'EmoConnect PPG&Motion' removes those constraints and has drawn strong interest from researchers and developers.

Newert Selected for Incheon Regional Specialization (Bio/Medical) Startup Success Package Commercialization Support
Newert has been selected under the "Incheon Regional Specialization (Bio and Medical)" track of the "Startup Success Package (Youth Startup Academy) Commercialization Support" program operated by the Korea SMEs and Startups Agency. Project: a wearable biosignal measurement system with smart filtering (EmoConnect). Building on this, the company plans to expand promotion and marketing and lay the groundwork for global commercialization from 2025.

Newert Signs a Partnership MOU on Biopotential Signals
On February 24, Newert signed a partnership memorandum of understanding with Global Mecha Solution Co., Ltd., a biopotential sensor semiconductor design company, covering devices for measuring biopotential signals and the equipment built on them. The two companies aim to complement each other's capabilities across development, sales, and marketing, establishing shared goals and strategies so that biopotential-related products reach the market on time and meet business performance targets. Newert plans to use the partnership as an opportunity to demonstrate its expertise in biopotential signals such as EEG, ECG, EMG, and EOG.

Newert Launches Wearable Biosignal Measurement Equipment and Software for R&D, Including Raw Data Access
Few companies in Korea develop and supply solutions for research and development in the biosignal field. Equipment on the market has also tended to restrict movement with wired sensors or to limit the data it provides, making applied R&D and business expansion difficult. Newert (CEO Lee Jung-nyeon) announced on the 16th that it has launched EmoConnect PPG&Motion, a wireless wearable biosignal measurement device supplied together with the raw data it collects and an SDK for commercialization.
